While attending the University of Utah, our owner, Joe Lindsley, took up employment with master gardener Neil Davidson. After a short while of working for him, Neil was diagnosed with health issues that would disable him from carrying on his business. At this time, he took Joe under his wing and showed him the necessary skills to be a great gardener. He passed on some of his clients and directed new leads to Joe, which was the birth of Landscape Solutions. Joe gained a deep appreciation for the quality of work Neil provided. He learned that a successful business is made in the details. It is not about the size of the project or the budget the customer has. It is about putting the time and energy into producing an environment that is both beautiful and functional. Joe attributes this knowledge and love for plants to Neil.
Since then, Joe has put countless hours into building the business and has invested every extra dollar purchasing new equipment and hiring quality staff. In 2006, he merged with High Desert Landscape's maintenance division, which pushed Landscape Solutions to officially start up its third full-time maintenance crew. In the years since then, Joe has continued to build the business, got married to Aimee, adopted a dog (Tucker), brought a beautiful daughter, Julia and 3 rambunctious sons—Niko, Mateo, and Roman into this world.
Now with the help of dedicated management team and crews, Landscape Solutions specializes in residential and commercial maintenance, construction and renovations, sprinkler service and repair, and lawn fertilization. Joe has established strong relationships with many other Utah landscapers, contractors, and vendors, and has been a member of the Utah Nursery and Landscape Association since 2002.
